Our Story

Established in 2022, The Lupakisyo Mwakipiti Foundation (LMF) is legally registered in Tanzania as a non-profit organization that aims to foster inclusive, supportive, and sustainable environments within the areas of education, Reproductive Health and Rights, and social well-being, with the overarching goal of empowering Tanzania communities to prosper. Lupakisyo Mwakipiti, in conjunction with his entrepreneurial endeavors, founded this non-profit organization to holistically uplift Tanzanian communities, placing a strong emphasis on improving education, Reproductive Health and rights, and social well-being.

Since its inception, the foundation has evolved by not only providing vital support but also by executing various projects, including initiatives like Elimu Aid, Msitiri Asome, Mjasiriamali Initiative, and Special Needs Special Help (SNSH). Throughout its existence, the foundation has predominantly relied on the founder’s funds and minimal support from friends and individuals who share a passion for advancing the causes it champions in the areas of education, Reproductive Health and Rights, and social well-being.

The foundation’s overarching goal is to make a meaningful impact on Tanzania communities within the aforementioned areas of focus. The foundation runs its day-to-day activities from its main office which is situated in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Founder's Message

I am extremely troubled by the need I see in the community and by my sense of helplessness. I’ve seen classmates that I’ve shared classrooms with being forced to give up their studies because of a variety of difficulties, most notably financial limitations. Access to sexual and reproductive health services continues to be a public health concern in Tanzania. Additionally, young girls who experience menstruation bear a severe burden due to the expensive cost of sanitary supplies. In the end, my community is an integral part of my life, and my foremost objective is to offer support wherever it is needed.
